What is Venus Ransomware?
This is a type of malicious program that is designed to encrypt victims’ files stored on a computer system and ask them to pay a huge sum of ransom amount in return for decryption tool/key. This nasty ransom-demanding threat is a data locker malware created by cyber crooks to blackmail innocent users and make an illegal profit.
It uses a powerful symmetric encryption algorithm (e.g., AES-128, AES-192, and AES-256) to encrypt user data/files which can only be unlocked by a private decryption key.
